The
New Forest Big Band has been together for several
years. We are based in Lymington, Hampshire.
Rehearsals are weekly on Thursdays between 7.45 pm and 9.45 pm. The membe
rs
are excellent musicians from both semi-professional and professional
backgrounds. Their individual experiences cover many aspects of
music from Big Bands, Groups, Orchestral, Brass Bands, Military Music, also
professional teaching. Members live in the Hampshire and Dorset areas.
Most of them have come from other areas in the U.K. but we do have some
“locals”. Experienced musicians are always required as deputies for rehearsals
and gigs. We are
very interested in making contact with BIG BANDS anywhere in the world.
