At the beginning of 2001 Angela Jackson joined us.  Big band is in Angela's blood.  Her father was a musician during the 30's, 40's and 50's, with such bands as Jack Payne's BBC Big Band, and Ted Heath, and often waited for his sessions down on the famous "Archer Street" in London's West End. 

Angela is a member of the locally well-known community group "The West End Singers".  Angela has sung in places as far-afield as Florida, Menorca, Geneva, France, and the famous Southampton Jazz Club "The Concorde Club".  You can often find Angela singing with a small jazz trio or quartet in and around the Salisbury/Southampton area.  We are pleased to have Angela as a member of the band (not least because she has built this web site!)
