At the beginning of 2001 Angela Jackson joined us. Big band is in Angela's blood. Her father was a musician during the 30's, 40's and 50's, with such bands as Jack Payne's, BBC Big Band, and Ted Heath, and often waited for his sessions down on the famous "Archer Street" in London's West End during the 1950's.

Angela is also a member of the locally well-known community group Encore Choir. Angela has sung in places as far-afield as Florida, Menorca, Geneva, France, and the famous Southampton Jazz Club "The Concorde Club".
